Life, Education, and Family are three words that are inseparable for me.

Life

​

I believe that government has a fundamental and moral obligation to protect the dignity and sanctity of human life. ​​My entire life and career, I have placed the principle of life at the center of my priorities serving the causes I love and hold dear while fighting for the vulnerable and all those who cannot defend themselves.

Education

​

Living & studying around the world has come at a heavy price for me, as it was initially catapulted by not being able to pursue and afford an education at home. In that, my never-ending quest to pursue an education at an early age and not achieve it until much later in life has taught me to understand that education must be affordable and geared towards tomorrow's jobs.

Family

​

Now that I finally have a family of my own, I know how important it is for us to focus on growing communities and building strong families. Most certainly, my wife & I will be the ones to decide for our son’s education choices, not the government!

​

In Congress, I had the opportunity to work on education reform, the Higher Education Act, scholarship issues, Pell Grant programs, financial services, banking & lending, and housing & urban development.

 

Without a doubt, much more work needs to be done in all of these areas!
